Lost River Camps

where is the best place to camp between kern river and Sequoia National Park?

My family and I are going on a camping trip next weekend, friday to sunday and i wanted to find a good spot to get the most out of the trip. with a for sure thought of going to kern river. any suggestions would be great! thanks!
