WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO GO CAMPING ON THE GUADALUPE RIVER IN Texas?

1. Camp Beans, if it is still there, New Braunfels. But really, there isn't a really BAD place on the Guadalupe...God's country.
2. Guadalupe River State Park in Spring Branch. As far as camping, they have great facilities with a variety of sites. Rates are pretty reasonable a weekend will run you around 25-30 bucks with all the fees. Great river access,tubing and fishing. We go at least twice a year. The park is about 10 miles from 281 off Hwy 46.
3. Mountain Breeze Camp Ground (mountainbreezecamp.com or 830-964-2484) They are right on the river, cheap and the bathrooms/showers are clean! I stay there every time I go to the river!!!! Have fun!
