I am looking for one to two hundred miles of senic, non-white water river for canoe/camping trip.?
In early May, a friend and I made an eight day camping/canoing trip down the Green River in Utah. It was great and we are looking for another senic river, in the weatern United States, for a repeat performance. Any ideas?

- I highly recommend Alaska. Interior rivers such as Yukon, Kuskokwim, and other smaller rivers are noteworthy. I have kayaked around southeast and southwest waters, and if you can tolerate the ocean, I sure like the inside waterways. You will not find much whitewater, per se, but there are other hazards aplenty. Depends on what you are up for. Over the years, I have enjoyed the Grand river in Ohio, floated the Snake in Wyoming, the south fork of the Beaverhead and Flathead rivers in Montana. All very scenic and some stretchs without whitewater can be found.
- Try the Missouri. It would compare with the Green.
- you can try the auSable river in which starts in grayling michiga, its midwestern, that like a 120-140 mile trip all the way to lake huron
