river camping trip?

me and my friends are planing acamping trip to the adirondacs, and want to hit either crasse river, cold river, amrion river r saranac river. we are wondering with one is the most secluded, and least rapids, and what is a good take off point togo down the river

1. You should find all the info you need here: http://www.paddling.net/places/NY/ Lots of great reference material, and head over to the message board / forums and search for info on the specific trip you want to take.
2. you should also consider the raquette river or the oswegatchie river--both of these have very easy access and you can make a long remote trip out of them with no rapids with the exception of a couple depending on where you put in(the raquette river from long lake to tupper lake has 1 long one mile carry around rapids but if you put in at axton landing you can get a 16 mile trip to tupper lake without a single carry, oswegatchie has no carries at all except for maybe a couple beaver dams)
3. I miss the Adirondacks. Born in New York and live in Georgia. Have fun on your trip!
